The musical tells the story of Sophie, who dreams of finding her father in time to have him walk her down the aisle at her wedding. What follows is a rollicking good time filled with upbeat music, comedic mishaps, and tender moments as Sophie, and her mother, learn the true meaning of family and true love.

“Mamma Mia!” originally opened in London’s West End at Prince Edward Theater on April 6, 1999 to rave reviews and sold out shows. As critics heaped praise on the musical, men and women of all ages raced to the box office to snatch up “Mamma Mia!” tickets before they sold out.
